PM Imran Khan will lay the foundation stone of Naya Pakistan Housing Apartments in LDA City, Lahore, this month.
Provincial Minister for Housing, Mian Mahmood Rashid, said that providing housing to low-income people is a priority for which the LDA team is working day and night to lay the foundation stone of the project and ensure construction of apartments in two years.
Under this project, 35,000 apartments will be constructed on 8,000 kanals of land in Balloki District, LDA City.
One block will consist of 32 residential units. And each apartment will have an area of 650 square feet with two bedrooms.
The price of an apartment has been fixed at Rs. 27 lakh six thousand five hundred which will be received in easy monthly installments.
In the first phase, 4,000 apartments will be constructed on 650 kanals of land at a cost of Rs. 10 billion.
The construction of 4,000 flats is targeted to be completed in a year and a half. PC-1 worth Rs. 20 billion has been approved for construction of infrastructure in the area.
Applications for allotment will be received through Bank of Punjab.
