PDWP has approved PC-1 of Rs 24 billion for the Rawalpindi Ring Road project

The Rawalpindi Ring Road project is being implemented very fast and in this regard PDWP (Provincial Development Working Party) has approved Rs 24 billion for PC-1 under which a 38.3 km main carriage will be constructed.

This project will start from Banth at GT Road N5 till Thalian Interchange.

Ring road project is planned and constructed comprising 3+3 lanes dual carriageway on Motorway standards, on which all vehicles will run at a speed of 120.

Commissioner Rawalpindi further said that Rawalpindi Ring Road will consist of five interchanges which will pass through Chakbeli Road, Adiala Road and Chakri.
