Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is doing extra ordinary efforts to facilitate people and improve in its ease of doing business (EoDB).
For this purpose, LDA has made some amendments in the “LDA Building Regulations 2019” to give approval to “Building Plan Sanctions” to facilitate business and encourage construction activities under the “Ease of Doing Business” reforms.
LDA also organized a seminar for the awareness of citizens and investors on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at LDA Office, Khayaban Ferdowsi, Johar Town, Lahore.
Naya Pakistan Housing Apartments @ LDA City
Work has been started for the first phase of 4000 apartments by joint team of LDA City, Town Planning, CMP and Engineering Wing.
Govt of Punjab & LDA wants to lay the foundation stone of the project through PM Imran Khan.
PC-1 of the project has also been approved by the LDA Governing Body.
Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started opening tenders of first phase of 4000 apartments to be constructed in LDA City New Pakistan Apartments project.
In the first phase, 4,000 apartments will be constructed on 800 kanals of land in Mouza Balloki. The prices has been set of these apartments is kept within the reach of LDA & other government employees and low-income people.
On 13 Feb 2021, LDA opened Tenders for Package Two for construction of 768 more apartments in LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments. More tenders will be opened on February 17 and 20.
Earlier, LDA opened tenders for the construction of 960 apartments for Naya Pakistan apartments in LDA City, on 10th Feb 2021.
Under Package Two, 11 contractor companies showed interest to build 768 apartments.
Three tenders were opened for construction of eight blocks in Package Two. 32 apartments will be constructed in each block.
Bids were submitted by NLC, Hanan Zelkan JV, Progressive International, Tetra Engineering, Yasin Brothers, Zarif Khan & Company, GPL, CEA and Joint Venture.
Financial bids will be opened after evaluation. Tenders have been opened under Single Stage to Envelop.
It may be recalled that on the direction of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, work has been started on the construction project of LDA City Apartments, Rs 2 billion has been allocated in the new budget and the project has been renamed as LDA City New Pakistan Apartments.
