Prime Minister Imran Khan approved the policy of banning Housing Society on Agriculture land

پنجاب کے بڑے شہروں میں زرعی زمین پر ہاوسنگ سوسائٹی کئ تعمیر پر پابندی عائد کر دی گئی ۔

A big decision came today when Prime Minister approved the policy of banning housing society on any type of agriculture land. The decision came when housing societies are rapidly establishing over precious cultivated lands.

This was revealed by Dr Shahbaz Gill, Chief Spokesperson of Chief Minister of Punjab.

لاہور میں وزیراعظم پاکستان کئ زیر صدارت اجلاس میں پنجاب کے بڑے شہروں میں زرعی زمین پر ہاوسنگ سوسائٹی کئ تعمیر پر پابندی عائد کر دی گئی ہے. اسی طرح شہروں میں بڑی عمارتوں کی تعمیر ورٹیکل (عمودی) طرز پر ہوگی تاکہ شہروں کے بےجا پھیلاؤ اور ماحولیاتی تبدیلی کے منفی اثرات پر قابو پایا جا سکے

Dr Shahbaz Gill, some days back, raised the same concern on social media. People, from different quarters, are appreciating this step.

Many people raising their concern on social media since many years but past governments did not pay any attention. Now our agriculture land would remain use for cultivation.

Due to rising population and demand of new homes, many new housing societies emerging in the existing metropolitan cities and due to which precious agriculture land is fastly diminishing. Many housing schemes crossed the city limits and in some cases, two cities become so close to each other.

This decision would also help in plantation of more trees within the metropolitan cities and stopping of depleting jungles.
